At present I am commissioning a Hydro Power Station on the western edge of Prospect Reservoir. Prospect Dam Wall bis a reporting point under the old GAAP. We see a lot of aircraft flying over top (including that one that crashed recently).
However being a 100% Mooneyac I get a lot of ribbing about my love affair with Mooneys. I am told that they are very ordinary very often in a fun way.
This morning a Seneca went overhead and one of the guys asked me "What type of aircraft was that?", then the Seneca was closely followed by a Cessna 172. Almost immediately an aircraft went over us from the west heading for Parramatta (just to the North West of Prospect Dam). The aircraft was probably travelling at twice the speed of the other two aircraft. One colleague made a comment "Boy he is moving very fast. What type of aircraft is that?"......"Mooney" I replied and smuggly smiled. Boy I love flying a Mooney.
Thanks for flying over...whoever you were.
